Manoj Menon, director, consultant, adviser, lecturer, educator has lived and worked in Vietnam for over 20 years. Starting his career as a professional accountant he progressed through a high career track in finance & accounting over 35 years serving as Regional Accountant, Financial Controller, Finance Director and CFO for many large multinational companies like Schlumberger, Carlsberg, Morgan Stanley, Parker Hannifin and General Electric. In 2012, he decided to pursue his passion for teaching by signing up as Visiting Lecturer for University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City. Ten years on and he has successfully taught courses in Accounting, Finance and Management at several Vietnamese Universities at both the Bachelor and Masters level in both local and international degree programs. Besides teaching, he is quite active in M&A capital raising for projects in Vietnam and actively seeking out capital raising opportunities for companies in Vietnam. He currently has his own Vietnam company involved in consulting, investment services and education management. He has advisory relationships with several finance houses in Vietnam and also has wide relationships with banks operating in Vietnam to screen and source for clients. He is well versed in international finance having secured over $100M worth of financing deals for Vietnam.
